Configuring UPDD Gestures
In this section, you will learn how to Configure the UPDD Gestures Application on your Mac OS X system.
- Open the UPDD Gestures app from App/Utilities and enable "Show Menu Bar Icon"
Enable accesabilty for UPDD gestures in system preferences.
- Click the Menu Bar icon and you will find the menu to Save and Load gestures settings.
- Enable Zoom in system preferences accessibility.
Using Gestures with Logic Pro
Pinch To Zoom = Toggles Zoom in and Zoom out of the display.
Hold CNTRL While pinch Zooming.
Setup the Accessibility for Pinch Zoom and the desired key command for holding while pinch zoom. Default is "Control"
Two Finger Double Tap (Z) = Toggles Zoom in and Zoom out on the region
Three Finger Swipe Left (Command ]) = Set Region/Event/Marquee End To Playhead Position
Three Finger Swipe Right (Command [) = Set Region/Even/Marquee Start to Playhead Position
Four Finger Swipe Right (Control End) = Move to Playhead Thumb
One Finger Swipe Left from Right Edge of Screen = Open Mission Control
One Finger Swipe Right from Left Edge of Screen (Command Option N) = Create New Track
Two Finger Swipe Left From Right Edge of Screen (Command Option S) = Create New Software Instrument Track
Two Finger Swipe Right from Left Edge of Screen (Command Option A) = New Audio Track
Rotate Left (Command T) = Splits Regions/Events at Playhead Position
Rotate Right (Control M) = Mute Current Track
Four Finger Squeeze = Hide Current Application
Four Finger Splay (Command W) = Close front window
Five Finger Squeeze (V) = Hide/Show All Plugins
Five Finger Splay (V) = Hide/Show All Plugins
